1. Who We Are

Flip Block: Wood Jewel Puzzle ("Flip Block", "we", "us", or "our") is an iOS puzzle game developed and published independently. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at retroblockduo@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

Flip Block is designed to be played without creating an account or providing personal information. Gameplay data (scores, level progress, saved game state) is stored locally on your device only.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the app, certain technical information may be collected automatically by our analytics provider (Firebase Analytics) and advertising provider (Google AdMob), including:

• Device type, operating system version, and language
• App usage events (e.g., game started, level completed, mode selected)
• Session duration and frequency of use
• Crash reports and performance data
• Advertising identifier (IDFA) — only if you grant permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt
• IP address (used to derive approximate country/region; not stored in identifiable form)

Information You Provide

Flip Block does not have user registration, login, or profile features. The only optional interaction is:

• Game Center: If you choose to connect your Apple Game Center account, Apple handles your identity and leaderboard data according to Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only your anonymized Game Center alias and score for leaderboard purposes.
• In-App Purchases: Purchases are processed entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information.
• Support requests: If you email us, we will use your email address only to respond to your inquiry.

3. Advertising & App Tracking Transparency

Flip Block is free to play and supported by ads served by Google AdMob. On iOS 14.5 and later, we present Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt before accessing your device's advertising identifier.

• If you grant permission: AdMob may use your IDFA to serve personalized ads and measure ad performance.
• If you deny permission: AdMob will serve contextual ads only. Your IDFA will not be accessed.

You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking on your iOS device.

Google's data practices are governed by the Google Privacy Policy. For information specific to AdMob, see How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps.

We also display a consent form to users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and UK in compliance with IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF) requirements before serving any ads.

4. Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics (Google) to understand how players interact with Flip Block — for example, which game modes are most popular and where players encounter difficulty. Analytics data is aggregated and used only to improve the game. Firebase Analytics collects pseudonymous identifiers; it does not identify you by name or email.

You can opt out of Firebase Analytics data collection by enabling Limit Ad Tracking or by adjusting app permissions on your device.

5. How We Use Information

We use the information described above to:

• Operate and improve the game experience
• Diagnose crashes and fix technical issues
• Serve and measure in-app advertising
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your information for purposes beyond what is described in this policy without your explicit consent.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Service providers: Google (Firebase Analytics, AdMob) and Apple (Game Center, App Store) as described above. These providers act as data processors under their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, court order, or governmental authority.
• Business transfers: If the app is acquired or merged, data may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify users via an in-app notice or update to this policy.

7. Data Retention & Storage

Game save data is stored locally on your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app. Analytics and advertising data retained by Google is governed by their respective data retention policies (typically 14 months for Firebase Analytics). Support emails are retained only as long as needed to resolve your inquiry.

8. Children's Privacy

Flip Block is rated 4+ on the App Store and is designed for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Advertising is configured to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google's Families Policy. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, please contact us at retroblockduo@gmail.com and we will promptly delete it.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access & portability: Request a copy of data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data.
• Opt-out of advertising: Deny or revoke ATT permission as described in Section 3.
• GDPR / CCPA: EEA residents and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively. Contact us to exercise these rights.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect the data we process. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use the privacy controls available on your iOS device.

11. Third-Party Links

The app may display links to third-party websites (e.g., App Store, Game Center leaderboard pages). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated through an app update notice or by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
